Kannawidan is an Ilocano word "tawad", which means heritage or inheritance. Kannawidan Festival starts at the end of January and ends on February 7. Kannawidan is a festival for all the Ilocano.
Kannawidan has missions to the people. In this Festival, they preserve and help maintain the Ilocano cultural heritage. They show the different prides of Ilocos like their arts and the values and traditional culture of the Ilocano. Kannawidan Festival features exciting events and many traditional activities. Kannawidan had introduced products of Ilocos Region.. Many tourists were invited to see, join and have fun to this Kannawidan Festival 2011.
I've never been to Kannawidan, so i don't have any experience of the Kannawidan Festival. But I have heared that Kannawidan Festival is very exciting and memorable. I hope the i can go to Kannawidan someday

Viva Vigan!!!
January 25, 2011, a special day for the people of Vigan City, like me. It is the Fiest of our saint, Saint Paul. It is the Fiest of the entire Vigan City. A day for all Bigueños. It's Fiesta Time!!!
This is a very Happy and memorable day. And we, as part of Ilocos Sur National High School, we celebrated the Fiest by joining the parade, the grand parade held on January 25. But in Vigan, Parade is not the only way to celebrate a Fiesta, they also have the Longganisa Festival, Longganisa Street Dancing Competition and many more. And if you are already tired, you can go to the Carnival Ground. And there you can enjoy and relax while the celebrating the Fiesta. It's very nice and memorable January 25.
January 25, its not only about food, party-party and street dancing because January 25 is also the fiesta of St. Paul. So we must give time to our saint for he also give time to us. We must give thanks for all the blessings. And i hope, next Vigan Fiesta would be as Happy as January 25. Viva Vigan!!!

"3 down, 1 more to go"
Time is so fast, and we didn't expect that there is only one more grading to go, then it Graduation time!! We are all glad, but at the same time we're sad. Third Grading is over, and fourth Grading comes next.
Third Grading!! We have learned a lot in this subject ICT (TLE IV). We have our first lesson which is all about HTML Images. In this topic we learned the Image Tag and Src Attribute, the alt-attribute and Aligning Images. But not only that, we learned also the HTML LINKS> And the we applied those things on our activities and project. And me, I encountered some problems in doing my work. For Example, when I had my Activity wrong. All of their activities were correct and finis. But I just repeated my work and see what is wrong and what should be done. Sometimes< I asked help to my classmates/ So that I will finish my work on time and completely done.
Moving on, I will be serious on this subject in the next grading. Because sometimes, I'm not doing my works properly and on time. So, for the last grading period, I will do my best and participate to the lecture and be more serious in my studies.

"New Year, New Life"
"New Year, New Life"-people often say this phrase especially when comes New Yer. They say , we must have our new life in this coming year. And I do believe in this.
CHANGE!!! We must encourage our selves to change to have a new life in New year. If we think we did a good job last year, we must be humble to our selves and try to do better the next year. If we had achieve many awards last year, don't stop at that point, we must strive harder to gain more and better awards in the next year. Change!! If we did bad things last year, we should change our selves, to become a great person not a bad-influence person. We should think the bad effects of doing bad things in life. And I know we can. I know we all can CHANGE our selves the way we want to.
Treasure the moments of your last year life. Be happy and enjoy life because we are still here now, having fun and facing challenges of life. Stand and be strong in taking the challenging road of life. And we should be having NEW LIFE in this NEW YEAR.

Essence of Christmas
"Christmas is truly in their hearts!!". This Christmas Season, we are all excited and happy. But inside this excitement and happiness, can you see and feel the essence of true Christmas?
I don't think so, because as i can see and i can feel, they celebrate this season just for fun. They are doing this not the right way it should be celebrated. Some are taking this for granted, they don't express the true essence of Christmas instead they have their Christmas carol, Christmas programs and others. They are so happy doing this but they don't know what is the essence of Christmas. Because as far as I know, Christmas is all-about Jesus and nothing more.
The true essence of Christmas is sharing, giving and loving. This Christmas, we must be good and celebrate this wonderful and happy. And always remember, Christmas is all-about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan
We all want a peaceful and danger free country. I'm very sure that no one would like to live in a dangerous country where your moves were being counted and must be controlled. I know that we want also a progressive country but how could all of this possible?
A wonderful and great country is what we want to have, but in order to have this, we should have a peaceful society first. A society where all have a great relationship. And from the right relationship of the people in a society, we can build a peaceful and orderly country. And not only that, from the bonding and beautiful relationship of the people, we can promote our our society and become one of the most progressive country in the world.
We can be a part of the progress of our country. We can do a great job in making our country number 1 in the whole world. And by having a great relationship of the people, we can have the peaceful, orderly and progressive country we are wishing for.
A wonderful and great country is what we want to have, but in order to have this, we should have a peaceful society first. A society where all have a great relationship. And from the right relationship of the people in a society, we can build a peaceful and orderly country. And not only that, from the bonding and beautiful relationship of the people, we can promote our our society and become one of the most progressive country in the world.
We can be a part of the progress of our country. We can do a great job in making our country number 1 in the whole world. And by having a great relationship of the people, we can have the peaceful, orderly and progressive country we are wishing for.

My Semestral Break
After the Second Periodical Test on October 21 and 22, we had our Semestral Break. From October 25 to November 1, we had our rest days and we do whatever we want to do without school assignments and works.
I spend my Sem Break by jamming with my friends, playing basketball and the computer, cleaning the whole house and staying at home with my family. My older brother and his companions in the 2010 SK Election won on October 25. My brother won for the position of SK Kagawad, and he decided to celebrate it with his friends and our relative in our house. And there, they all have their dinner at home. I helped my father and brother in cleaning the house. We cleaned and prepared the house for my Mother who will be coming home soon, hopefully. We didn't go to the cemetery on November 1 instead we've just continued cleaning the house. But at night, we lighted some candles around the house and we had some ghost stories and we watch horror movies together.
Our Semestral Break was too short but it's just OK because I'm missing having classes everyday. My Sem Break was so nice but I think I didn't have my rest rather, I played clean and jam everyday. So over all , it was nice, not BORING instead it's Party-Party!!
